Ndhiwa Law Courts in Homa Bay County on Friday jailed a 54-year-old man for life for defiling an 11-year-old child nearly four years ago.
Appearing before Ndhiwa Law Courts Resident Magistrate Murangasia, Samuel Odie was accused of committing the crime at Luanda village in August 2020.
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), led by Moses Okerosi, brought out six witnesses to testify against the accused.
The court ruled that the witness testimonies corroborated in proving the case beyond reasonable doubt.
