A 30-year-old man has been taken into custody for his nephew's murder in Bondo, Siaya County, at the South Sakwa location.
After a fight during a drinking binge, Leonard Ouma Agutu is thought to have been killed by the suspect, Vincent Otieno Onyango.
The suspect was apprehended at a gold mining site in Gombe village, according to Cleti Kimaiyo, the commander of Siaya County Police. He said that Otieno, the main suspect in Leonard's death, is thought to have ambushed and attacked the victim as he was returning home.
This comes after the two got into a furious fight earlier that night while they were both on a drinking binge.

The suspect will be charged on Thursday at Bondo Law Courts while the investigation is ongoing.
