Police officers in Suba South, Homa Bay County, are looking for a man accused of chopping off his wife's fingers and assaulting their two-year-old child.
The 23-year-old woman and her kid are admitted to Magunga Level 4 Hospital in Suba South, Homa Bay County.
After assaulting the child with a blunt object, the man severed three of her fingers. He then fled the scene to Magunga Trading Centre.

Richard Ojuok, the doctor in charge at Magunga Hospital, said the two are in stable condition after being hospitalized following the event.
Sebastian Okiring, Suba Sub County Deputy County Commissioner, verified the occurrence and stated that a manhunt had been initiated for the offender, who remains at large.
