The culprits were apprehended on Thursday and arrested at Bomet Police Station following the broadcast of a horrific video from December of last year that went viral on social media.
The video sparked widespread outrage from various organizations, including the Bomet Girl Guide Association, led by Chairperson Dorine Chepkirui, who has urged investigators to pursue every possible lead on whoever was responsible.
She stated that the nasty film had shown the rot in society, a feeling shared by former Maendeleo Ya Wanawake Bomet Chairperson Sally Kirui.
Mrs. Kirui stated that a similar incident occurred last year in the same Chepalungu sub-county, demonstrating that society has lost its human values.
