At Kiambu High Court today, Allan Ochieng, also known as Hype Ballo, was charged on Monday with the murder of Felix Kelian Kintosi, a DCI officer who worked under DCI Dagoretti.

Ochieng denied every accusation made against him. However, the Office of the Directorate of Public Prosecutions, represented by prosecution attorney Jenifer Ndeda, requested that he be held in custody until Probation and Aftercare had finished writing a social inquiry report.

Lady Justice Dorah Chepkwony granted the prosecution's application and placed the accused in Nairobi remand custody for an additional seven days.

Ochieng was detained in connection with Kintosi's murder along with six other people, including well-known deejay Joe Mfalme.

Afterward, the remaining six were freed and turned into prosecution witnesses.

May 2 is the date of the bail or bond application hearing.
