Police officers have launched an investigation after a man was stabbed to death in a fight over a woman in Kochogo village, Nyando Sub County.
The victim, identified as Otieno, died from his injuries shortly after his admission to the hospital.
"The 24-year-old was taken to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital ( JOOTRH) where he died.

Area Chief Alfred Ondola stated that the two had a heated argument about a lady.
"The assailant then drew a knife and stabbed the deceased in the stomach," Ondola added.
The perpetrator left the scene, leaving the victim lying in a pool of blood.
Police are on the hunt for the suspect who fled the scene of the crime after the stabbing.
