Police officers in Cheptingting, Bomet County, have launched an investigation after a 29-year-old man allegedly murdered his cousin.
Konoin sub-county police chief David Kandie said that the accused, Leonard Rono, went into his cousin's home and started hitting him with a blunt object in the head.
Rono murdered 27-year-old Mathew Korir on the spot while his wife, Beatrice Chemutai, witnessed the crime in disbelief.

The suspect is said to have had a dispute with the deceased about an undisclosed matter before deciding to kill him.
