A 45-year-old man has been arrested for stabbing his 52-year-old lover to death in Nyahururu during a domestic fight.
According to a police complaint, Beatrice Nyandigo and John Mungai quarreled at their KCC-area home.
According to official reports, Rose Osomo, 31, reported the incident to authorities, and a team was sent to the property, where they discovered the terrible aftermath of the altercation.

Nyandigo was found lying in a pool of her blood with injuries to her back and chest, while her 10-year-old grandson had knife wounds to his chest, face, arms, legs, and stomach.
"The grandson was rushed to Nyahururu county referral hospital where he is undergoing treatment though in serious condition," read the report in part.
Mungai allegedly attempted to run after the event but was pursued by boda boda riders, prompting him to rush to the police station for protection.
"At the station, he fell and officers manning the station noticed that he also had injuries on his chest. He was rushed to the same facility and undergoing treatment while being guarded," said the police.
The deceased's body has been sent to the Nyahururu County Referral Hospital mortuary for autopsy.
A kitchen knife thought to be the murder weapon has also been seized.
