The family of Mercy Kwamboka, a 20-year-old University of Nairobi student from Chiromo Campus, is pleading for justice after her tragic death.
Her body was discovered in a bush in Mwiki, Nairobi after she mysteriously disappeared from her home in Pipeline at 11 p.m. following a phone call.
Kwamboka's mother, Stella Kerubo, expressed her anguish, revealing the extent of her daughter's brutal torture. According to Kerubo, Mercy's legs were broken, and her hands were burned with acid.

The first person to discover the body, whose identity remains protected, described the chilling scene: "I found her lying here, missing her trousers, only in her undergarments. There was a phone, Ksh 1,000 behind it, along with a blanket and one black shoe."
Investigations suggest that Kwamboka's kidnappers had planned her murder. Her phone and money were found at the site, and evidence indicates she tried to move but was severely injured.
The witness also reported seeing a car arriving and leaving the area multiple times before her body was discovered.
Authorities are now conducting investigations to uncover the circumstances surrounding Kwamboka's abduction and murder in Mwiki, Nairobi County.
