A man in Kamagoma village, Wang'aya sub-county, Kisumu, has died after being attacked by unknown individuals.
According to police reports, the attack happened at 4 a.m., when Joseph Otieno Achero, 40, was attacked near his home and left for dead.
Local locals took him to the St Plister health clinic, where he died from his injuries.
Police officers at the scene were able to recover the weapon used in the attack and are requesting help from the locals to identify the elusive suspects.
The body was brought to Othoo Hospital Mortuary, awaiting a postmortem and burial plans as police continue with their investigations.
