The family of Conrad Nyabuto, who was reportedly stabbed to death in Ruiru, Kiambu County, is calling for swift justice.

The grieving relatives, based in Nairobi’s Saika Estate, allege that despite clear evidence implicating the primary suspect, progress in bringing her to account has been slow.

According to Conrad's father, his son, the third of five siblings, lost his life following an attack allegedly carried out by his estranged girlfriend. The family reports that Conrad succumbed to excessive bleeding after being stabbed 27 times.

They believe the incident occurred after Conrad traveled to Kamakis to resolve ongoing issues in his relationship. Tragically, the late-night meeting marked the end of their romance and the beginning of a murder investigation.

Authorities have identified the suspect as Salome Wanjiru. The case was officially reported on December 17, 2024, at Gatongora Police Station in Ruiru.

The suspect is scheduled to appear before the Thika High Court on Thursday to respond to the charges.
