A mother was arrested in suna west, migori country, on the accusation of murdering her 15-year-old son. The beating happened on the night of January 1st.
The name of the accused is still a secret at the moment, was apprehended by the police after neighbours found the boy's lifeless body.
Police have also begun a search for the boy's brother, 25, who is accused of also partaking in the fatal beating of his juvenile sibling.

In another incident, two children were killed bizarrely in Kikuyu, Kiambu county. The mother alleges a stranger knocked at their door at night with a knife and murdered the two children. She claims that the stranger later put the bodies of the two children in a bucket before running away. The mother did not raise the alarm, and the bodies were discovered after a neighbour visited and said this.
Police are investigating the murder and are yet to establish the motive. Ringera said the neighbours did not hear any screams from the house. "The woman could have raised an alarm. We don't know how and why this happened," she said.
