A man who stabbed his fiancée to death at a pizza restaurant in Kitengela, Kajiado County, claims he loved her
On Friday, April 21, 2023, Mr Patrick Munyoki Kioko was accused of stabbing to death Ms Gertrude Wayua Mutiso. In his statement to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the guy now claims he was outraged when he discovered Ms Wayua was meeting one of the managers at her workplace.
He told the police that he loved the lady so much and was just bitter that she decided to hurt him right at their place of work.
He told investigators that he was upset with Ms Wayua because she was in a relationship with one of her superiors. According to the officer, the police knew that Mr Kioko had previously threatened the deceased. Despite this, she never reported the event to the police or fired him.
It was revealed that Mr Kioko and Ms Wayua began their romance at Kimathi University in Nyeri County. The suspect also told the officers he was still in anguish but regretted his acts because the lady he adored was no longer alive. It should be noted that Mr Kioko made a move when he was
