Police in Kuria West, Migori County, has initiated an investigation into the death of a 4-year-old kid whose body was discovered floating in an Isebania borehole.
A public member discovered the boy's body floating in the borehole, according to Kuria West sub-county police chief Cleti Kimaiyo.
The body was extracted from the borehole and transported to the Akidiva Hospital mortuary for preservation while family members were notified.

Mr Kimaiyo stated that the dead went missing on April 25, 2023, and they have yet to determine what happened before his death.
He claimed that inquiries into the incident have since begun and that the deceased's body has been preserved pending autopsy.
