Narok police have initiated an investigation into the death of a Maasai Mara University student.
According to a detective report, 20-year-old Adah Nyambura, a first-year student, was found dead in a bush in Macedonia on Sunday, half naked with minor bruises on his face.
Nyambura's partner, only known as Brian Kimutai, 23, had reported him missing, according to police. Investigators believe the deceased was raped before she was slain.
Meanwhile, the body has been transported to the Narok County referral hospital mortuary for a postmortem examination.
This comes barely a week after another woman's body was stuffed in a suitcase outside rental houses. A suspect has been arrested in the murder.

In other news, according to emergency services, a bus transporting Moroccan seasonal workers overturned early Monday in southern Spain, killing one and wounding 39 others, three of whom were critically injured.
According to the 112 emergency services, the collision occurred soon before sunrise on International Worker's Day on a route around 50 kilometres from the southwestern Andalusian city of Huelva.
They had previously stated that seven persons had been critically injured and 18 had minor injuries.
It took time to determine what caused the disaster in an area noted for its extensive agriculture business. The Andalusia region ranked first in Europe regarding fruit and vegetable exports.
According to CES emergency services medics, "34 workers were traveling on the bus; one of them died in the accident, seven others were seriously injured, and 18 others were slightly injured."
Traditionally, Spain relies on thousands of seasonal foreign labourers to gather fruits, with the Huelva area producing 300,000 tonnes of strawberries every year, accounting for the vast majority of Spain's output.
