Residents in syokimau call out the directorate of criminal investigations for staying silent as robbers terrorize them in broad daylight. They claim that the investigative body is not doing anything to help them.

It's heartbreaking to hear stories of families in Syokimau traumatized by robbers invading their homes. We need justice and peace! #SyokimauRobbery@DCI_Kenya pic.twitter.com/I8TEk92l1z

Residents of the area have been sharing CCTV videos of four men who park their car outside an apartment and rob the residents of their valuables, including fridges and TVs, before making away without anyone noticing them.

The rate of increase in crimes in the country is so alarming, people are continuously losing their hardly gained property to the robbers, we need to see @DCI_Kenya taking action against these robbers#SyokimauRobbery pic.twitter.com/aVXTBcmaEf

in one of the videos, the number plate of the vehicle used to carry out these robberies is visible. Still, some residents claim that the number plates are fabricated and cannot be authenticated. The faces of the robbers are, however, very visible because they did not put an effort into hiding them.

Kenyans are faulting the DCI for failure to comment on the matter and are calling for swift action in arresting those involved.
