Residents of Kumbatha village woke up to the shocking news of the death of a 38-year-old boda boda rider who was killed for having an affair with his pastor's wife.
Wilson Onjiro Otieno, the deceased, is said to have gone to the pastor's house on Sunday night to visit his wife without understanding the pastor was there.
According to the area Chief Andrew Ombisa, the deceased had a long-running love affair with the clergyman's wife. He is believed to have used the cleric's absence from spiritual events in Sindo Township to spend the night with his wife in their marriage bed.
According to the village Chief, the dispute between the pastor and the deceased began when the clearly drunk guy entered the house without recognizing the priest's presence.

Following a lengthy disagreement, the dead went home and returned armed with rudimentary weapons to attack the clergyman. The cleric issued a distress call, which aroused the public, who lynched the intruder.
According to Ombisa, the bodaboda rider was killed in the compound before his body was brought to Kumathi primary school and discovered on Monday morning.
