Rahab Karisa, Kilifi County's chief officer for fisheries and the blue economy, has passed away.
On Thursday morning, Rahab was allegedly fatally stabbed in Mnarani, Kilifi County, by her housekeeper.
She had just arrived in the nation on Wednesday after visiting Italy.
The house staff reportedly ran away before private company cops reported for their morning shift, according to a statement issued by the personal guard.
Police in the homicide department are looking into the probe, hoping to uncover what led to Karisa's death.
