Police in West Pokot County are looking for the parents of a 2-year-old baby who died after falling into a container loaded with raw illicit brew.
Police officers say the incident occurred in the Kaisagat district of Siyoi Ward. Officers from Kapenguria Police Station went to the location after receiving a panic call from residents.
The raw unlawful brew, popularly known as kangara, was stashed in the family's farm, according to Kapenguria police chief Kipkemoi Kirui.
