The suspect who was released recently from prison took detectives to his house

The suspect is thought to be the leader of a gang responsible for the daylight armed robberies reported in Kilimani and its surroundings, according to detectives handling the case.

On December 10, he was taken into custody in the Nairobi suburb of Makongeni, around 15 kilometers from the murder location.

His capture came as a result of a 48-hour well-planned investigation by Kilimani-based detectives who utilized bait to catch the serial killer who had previously served six years in prison for a similar offense.

Prior to his arrest at a joint, detectives pretended to be a woman he had Internet seduced and consented to a meeting.

During his two months of hiding out, he "met" a woman on social media and began setting up a meeting with her.

where significant evidence relating to the robbery episodes was located and recorded.

His t-shirt, shoes, and pants from the day of the murder are among the exhibits.

In the October incident, the jailbird and two accomplices on a numberless motorbike accosted Marcopaulo and shot him in a confrontation.

A moment later, one of them pulled a gun and shot Marcopaulo once in the right side of the chest before escaping on a motorcycle.

Doctors' attempts to save the victim's life were unsuccessful because he eventually passed away from the gunshot wound.

Police claim that on September 29, the armed thugs approached four Dutch tourists outside the Silver Harbour condominium complex on Kindaruma Road.

Before fleeing on a motorbike with its license plate numbers covered, they robbed them of their cell phones, cash, and jewelry.

The gangsters fired two bullets into the air as they fled to frighten away onlookers who had responded to the visitors' cries for help.

When the thugs attacked at 8 am, the Dutch tourists were ready to join a tour van to the Nairobi National Park. Since then, detectives have been working around the clock to identify the gang's identity and prosecute everyone involved. One of the suspect's accomplices was already detained by investigators in Kilimani; their case is currently pending before the Chief Magistrate's court in Kibera. The investigators are actively pursuing important clues regarding the whereabouts of the remaining suspects as they conduct an operation to apprehend them. Adamson Bungei, the head of the Nairobi police, warned that additional people may be involved in local occurrences.
