Detectives on Thursday morning arrested two suspects in Harambee Estate in Buru Buru, possessing eighteen pellets of cocaine.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations Anti-Narcotics Unit detectives conducted the operation, who identified the suspects as Curtis Muli and Teresa Achieng.
Further, the law enforcement officers also seized a significant amount of currency in both Kenyan shillings and foreign denominations.
“The cash included $12,601 USD, €15 Euros, Sh509, 495, Tsh24,000 and 10,000 Angolan Kwanza,” said the DCI.
According to detectives, the search was expanded to include a nearby home that was thought to be a stash house in the same neighbourhood.

Three test tubes, a digital scale, and an ID card belonging to one of the suspects were found there.
The medicines that were found weigh an estimated 0.244 grammes.
In the meantime, the suspects are being detained at the Muthaiga police station for additional inquiries and arraignment in court.
This comes a few days after police in Nairobi seized Kes 12.98 million in cash and apprehended individuals linked to narcotics-related activities within Ngara’s Kariwa slums.
According to the National Police Service, the recovery was accomplished after a multi-agency operation that resulted in the capture of four individuals on Tuesday.
Eugene Jumba, Hillary Jumbo, Sheila Withers, and Teresa Wanjiru were named as suspects by the police.
Law enforcement officials were able to seize a trove of evidence during the operation, including 26 bags of marijuana, four cartons of rolling supplies, and 173 pieces of what was thought to be a mixture of drugs or bhang.
