After the recent broadcast of the final episode of "Jane and Solomon" on Citizen Television, many people came to the conclusion that Jane was responsible for the murder of her husband, Kiiru High School principal Solomon.

Judge Joel Ngugi stated at the sentencing that he was quite certain that Jane and her fellow defendant had planned to murder Solomon. Judge Joel Ngugi stated, "A significant custodial sentence is warranted for the Accused."

Karis, who had assisted the prosecution by testifying, received a sentence of five years in jail, while the other two received terms of thirty years.
However, for those who closely followed the documentary, it was evident that Judge Joel Ngugi was correct in asserting that Jane Muthoni was at the center of Solomon's demise.

First of all, Jane was in frequent contact with the three main suspects who are thought to have been involved in the murder of Solomon. Using mobile technology, the DCI was able to link their phone numbers to the spot where Solomon's body was found.

Additionally, there was a strong correlation between Jane's actions and the details offered by the state witness, Karis. For instance, Karis confessed that after the first attempt to assassinate Solomon failed, Jane had escorted them out of the school grounds around 1:00 am. Jane, on the other hand, asserted that she left the school grounds at that unusual hour to get pills because she was feeling poorly.
