On Monday evening, Businesswoman Nancy Kizungu, famously known as ‘Mathe wa Ngara’ li naked to a drugs syndicate in Ngara, Nairobi Area, was arrested on Monday evening.
She was arrested despite moving to court seeking an anticipatory bail to stop her arrest.
She spends the night in police custody pending her arraignment.
Kigunzu, who identified herself in court documents as a law-abiding person, claimed she never broke the law in Kenya, was never arrested, and never faced any criminal charges.
Her two children and the other three persons detained with the drugs found last week will learn their fate on Tuesday when the anti-narcotics court rules on whether police can hold them for another five days.
