A police constable was arrested in Homa Bay County after allegedly cutting his supervisor with a panga over a captured and jailed suspect.

The officer assigned to the Pala Police Post in Ndhiwa Sub-County is accused of beating his superior, Koech Kimutai.

Kimutai, the head of the Pala Police Post, was allegedly assaulted by his junior after they disputed about a suspect who had been apprehended.

He went to the constable's house to inquire about the suspect's whereabouts but received no compelling response.
