Police officers in Emali are hunting for a suspect accused of murdering his lover in a lodging.
The suspect and victim, who is alleged to be his lover, booked into a motel in Emali around midday on Sunday, according to Emali Township Assistant Chief Michael Kivondo.
He stated the lady was later discovered dead at the lodging, with her male friend missing. The circumstances of the purported murder remain unknown.
According to the assistant chief, early investigations revealed that the woman was strangled with a towel; her body has been relocated to the Kilome Nursing Home Mortuary while the inquiry is ongoing.
