Real Housewives of Nairobi cast member Minne Kariuki has chosen not to proceed with legal action against social influencer Mitchelle Ntalami. She has withdrawn her initial demand for Sh3 million in compensation, which she had instructed her lawyers to file last week. This demand was based on Minne's assertion of defamation originating from Marini Natural founder, Ntalami.

However, Minne had expressed her willingness to settle her differences with Ntalami out of court on the condition that Ntalami publicly apologises for what she referred to as a "fictitious" legal suit that defamed her.

Two weeks ago, Ntalami initiated legal proceedings against Minne, alleging defamation. In a swift response, Minne retaliated by filing a counter-lawsuit against Ntalami. She is seeking Sh3 million in compensation, asserting that her brand and reputation on social media were adversely affected as her name was brought into a lawsuit before she received formal notice of it.

Labeling Ntalami's case as fabricated, Minne emphasized that she had not received formal service of court documents, despite Ntalami's posting of purported court papers on her social media channels.

After the three-day ultimatum for Ntalami to issue a public apology expired without any action, Minne has decided to refrain from pursuing the matter any further, at least for the time being.

Sources suggest that while Minne initially sought to safeguard her image and brand, which she believed had been negatively impacted by Ntalami's actions, she has since been advised to allow the issue to settle.

The conflict between the two women originated last year during the production of the inaugural season of RHON. During this time, Minne was being considered for a cast member position, while Ntalami's attempts to secure a spot were unsuccessful.

Now, as the production for the second season of the reality show kicks off this month, and with Minne making a return appearance, the situation has once again heightened tensions for Ntalami, who finds herself on the periphery once more.
