A year after the terrible death of his three-year-old son, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, spoke about the pleasure of welcoming "beautiful" twins.

The musician disclosed that his wife had welcomed a boy and a girl into the country in October, the same month he lost his son, Ifeanyi, at a conference in New York.

Davido said that what he went through could have caused many people to want to give up on God, but he could maintain his faith and continue with the things he loved.

The musician claimed that he and his wife Chioma, a well-known chef and influencer, were shocked when they learned they were expecting twins.

"When me and my wife found out, we were shaking and it was in the same month. My son passed last year October, my wife gave birth this year October so it's crazy."


The son of the Afrobeats musician and his Chioma Rowland, David Ifeanyi Adedeji Adeleke Jr., passed away on Monday (October 31, 2022) following an incident at home.

According to reports, the tragedy happened in the swimming pool of the family's primary property in the capital city of Nigeria.
