Singer Bahati and his wife Diana Marua looked dashing in yellow as they celebrated their traditional ceremony after being together for seven years.

In an Instagram post, the singer could not hide his joy after paying the dowry and being given the blessings to plan the wedding. He said the ceremony surprised Diana as she had no idea he was planning it.

Diana, who was also excited, said that if someone had told her she would be celebrating her traditional ceremony, she would have laughed at them. Marua narrated the hardships of trying to make it in the big city and how happy she finally was when she met Bahati.
"When you look at me, you see a Lucky girl, but you don’t know what it has taken for me to get here. I’ve faced alot of tough times growing up, I didn’t finish school because there was no money, begging landlords to give us a few more days was the order of the day, we had a book of Mkopo, kwa duka that we would pay monthly and that was normal for us." she posted
"I left school and my first job was hawking Line ya ‘U’ when the long gone telecom started in Kenya. Then later became an Mpesa agent. I slowly made steps to the commercial world and became an overlooked receptionist, but who is God? I didn’t know I’ll live in my own mansion, drive big cars, become an employer, give the world to my children and live a life full of God’s Favour, Blessings and Abundance 😭😭😭" she added.
Diana said that once she met Bahati, she knew he was the one and dropped everyone else to be with him. She mentioned that they have had their ups and downs, but she has always been submissive to Bahati.
