After Kenyan musician Okello Max remixed her popular song "how we roll," which features Chris Brown, multi-award-winning American singer and entrepreneur Ciara recognized him.
On social media, Ciara commended Okello Max and gave the remix her seal of approval.
When Ciara posted a clip of Okello Max's remix to her Instagram stories, she added the words "Good vibes! " to her caption. "Africa is in the house!"
Ciara had started the "Open Verse Challenge," in which she invited and enjoined musicians and fans from all around the world to reinterpret "How We Roll" and display their originality.

Jumping at the chance, Okello, who is renowned for incorporating his mother tongue (Luo) into his lyrics, enthralled the audience by taking over the song as though it were written specifically for him.
In the lyrics, Okello displayed his poetic skills by rapping on how he'd be willing to spoil his woman.
Okello Max thanked his supporters for their encouragement and for naming Ciara in the video so that she would see his skill in response to a clip that was uploaded on Nairobi Gossip's Instagram page.

On both solo and group projects, Okello Max first appeared as a backup vocalist for Dela, Sauti Sol, Bien, Bensoul, Nviiri, Polycarp, Savara, and Chimano.
He worked with Jerry Ogalo on his debut song, "Kiss," which was a huge smash. He then made an appearance on Sauti Sol's hit song "Rhumba Japani."
"Nakufa," another well-known song by Okello Max, includes Bensoul and Amlyoto.
