A heartwarming photo surfaced of Comedian Eric Omondi  bravely protecting Mama Idah Odinga from a sudden downpour.

As light rain fell, Eric Omondi walked alongside Raila Odinga's wife, Idah, providing cover with umbrellas.

The self-proclaimed "president of comedy in Africa" honed his skills on the Churchill Show and has firmly established himself as one of Kenya's most renowned comedians.

Eric Omondi was impeccably dressed in a striking blue three-piece suit paired with a crisp white shirt. Ida exuded regal elegance in a purple African-themed dress. They strolled along a cabro path engaged in conversation before heading to an event together.

Recently, Eric Omondi openly expressed his intention to vie for the Lang'ata parliamentary seat. He's transparent about receiving support from political heavyweight Raila Odinga.

The comedian-turned-activist openly expressed his interest in the Lang'ata seat shortly after the area Member of Parliament, Jalang'o, was expelled by the Orange Democratic Movement party.

During an interview with Milele FM, Eric explained that he felt compelled to contemplate running for the Lang'ata seat due to the overwhelming support and calls from the electorate.

In a prior interview, Eric utilized his Instagram story to motivate young Kenyans, emphasizing that it's high time they proactively step up and take charge of their own destinies, or risk facing impoverishment. He urged his fellow Kenyans to advocate for the rights of their children.

Eric further asserted that the time has come for the youth to assert themselves, assuring that he has a concrete plan in place to ensure they are led with excellence and that their generation doesn't succumb to destitution.
