The prolific music producer and DJ expressed his longstanding admiration for Afrobeats, which ultimately inspired him to partner with Burna Boy, widely recognized as the leading figure in Nigerian mainstream music on the global stage.


Burna Boy's collaborative efforts extend to a roster of international luminaries, including Ed Sheeran, Future, DJ Khaled, J Balvin, J Hus, Stormzy, and many others.

For his 2023 album, 'I Told Them', Burna Boy joined forces with the legendary rap duo GZA and RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan. Additionally, he teamed up with 21 Savage and J Cole, further solidifying his global success, which has been propelled by his hit single 'Last Last'.

Following the release of the album, DJ Khaled uploaded a video of himself enjoying Burna Boy's 'I Told Them' on his Instagram account. He also shared clips of the two artists having dinner together, which stirred speculation about a potential collaboration.
