Following a deadly accident involving Tanzanian musician Chino Kidd and his band on Saturday, a man has passed away.

Amapiano singer Chino Kidd and a few of his friends were traveling to Tanga, Tanzania, for a performance when the black Alphard vehicle they were in collided with a fuel truck.

According to reports, the accident occurred on Saturday afternoon in the Kabuku area, and multiple victims are said to have had serious injuries.

"We were heading to Tanga for our mother Ummy Mwalimu's show, by accident we got to the Kabuku area, we left with two cars, the car the artist was riding in was ahead and the artist was sitting on the left side of the driver," Chino Kidd's manager, Sweder told Tanzania Web.

According to the manager, after the accident, the injured were taken to the Tanga referral hospital and the victims were able to receive emergency care. Although everyone in the car was hurt, he said, no one immediately passed away.

Regretfully, it has been reported that the driver of the black Alphard, which was transporting artist Chino Kidd, also known as Nabeel, has passed away.

While in mourning, Tanzanian music producer Abbah Process confirmed Nabeel's passing on Sunday morning.

"Rest in peace brother, we have lost a family member who was in the accident yesterday (Saturday). May God embrace him in his loving arms and grant him eternal peace. Forever in our hearts,” Abbah Process wrote on his Instagram account.

Chino Kidd is said to have sustained more chest injuries in the accident, while other victims are reported to have broken legs.

Producer Abbah posted a video of the crowd surrounding the black Alphard that was transporting Chino and his associates.

The right side of the car looks to have taken the brunt of the impact. On the opposite side of the road, a gasoline truck that was also a part of the collision was visible with its head down.

One of the musicians signed to Marioo's Bad Nation record label is Chino Kidd.
