Snoop Dogg has acknowledged that his prior declaration about 'giving up smoke' was merely a marketing trick to draw attention to his new commercial venture.

On November 17, the new Deathrow Records CEO turned to Instagram to make an alarming announcement: he was quitting smoking.

"After much thought and discussion with my family, I've decided to give up smoking," the rapper Calvin Broadus addressed his 82.5 million Instagram followers.

"Please respect my privacy at this time," he said.

The announcement shocked millions of his followers and pot enthusiasts around the world, as the rapper has long been vocal about his love of weed, even claiming to have smoked in the White House.

Snoop revealed on Monday that his announcement had nothing to do with quitting drugs and everything to do with Solo Stove.

Joining with the Texas-based firm, Snoop disclosed that he was embracing a different sort of smokeless vibe with a $350 fire pit package.

"I love a good fire outside, but the smoke was too much," Snoop Dogg explained. "Solo Stove fixed the fire and extinguished the smoke." They changed the game, and now I'm looking forward to spreading the love and staying warm with my friends and family," he said.

Snoop Dogg can now enjoy a fire pit without "coughing and his clothes smelling all sticky icky."

As part of the agreement, Snoop Dogg will collaborate with the company on product development and contribute to creating a signature range of items.

Snoop's bonfire fire pit, fire pit stand, bucket hat, and sticker pack are already available in a limited-edition bundle.

Snoop has founded various marijuana-related businesses in recent years, including "Merry Jane," a marijuana-focused media company, and a cannabis product line.

He has also invested in Casa Verde Capital, a venture capital business focusing on marijuana start-ups.

Three days later, the rapper returned online to clear the air, claiming he was turning smokeless while advertising a new smokeless cooker.
