The online feud between content creators Akothee and Pilot Nyako has reached a heightened level, with Akothee claiming that her TikTok account has been suspended.

The clash between the two personalities originated when Nyako posted a video filled with insults, challenging Akothee to a verbal confrontation on the widely used social media platform.

Unfazed by the suspension, Akothee conveyed her steadfast determination to stay engaged and active on various social media platforms.

“I will not be stopped by anyone to be on any social media page.”

Akothee provided insights into her views on TikTok, revealing her initial hesitance to join the platform because of its time-consuming nature and the prevalence of noise and conflicts.

In a comprehensive narrative of her TikTok experience, Akothee disclosed that she faced challenges in managing the platform, leading to the loss of three accounts with over 100k followers each.

Notwithstanding these challenges, Akothee mentioned that her brand manager, Nellyoaks, played a pivotal role in persuading her to embrace TikTok, highlighting her substantial following and engagement on the platform.

Nevertheless, Akothee's foray into TikTok has been accompanied by controversy. She disclosed that both her account and Nellyoaks' account faced reports and subsequent suspension, attributing these actions to jealousy and insecurity.

“I don’t know if I was to seek permission to join my own life with my phone with my fans or Is this some big jokes. Kwani who owns this App? Ama watu wako na shares tujue tunanunue ngapi. The jealousy became uncontrollable, people sent me videos of me being warned not to join TikTok and that I should stick to Facebook and Instagram. Just for your information Both my Account and nellyoaks account were reported and suspended. That’s how bad jealousy & insecurity can go.”

Akothee voiced her frustration at what seemed to be a deliberate effort to suppress her presence on social media. She underscored her dedication to utilizing these platforms for entertainment, education, and moments of joy.

“I am on social media for Entertainment, education, and fun moments. I don’t need to ask for permission to be on any platform.”
