He said he missed being around Kenyans and performing in the country because our energy is unrivaled. He added that being away for so long hurt him.
"I missed them; it has been a huge, long time. I don't know if there is someone who has suffered as much as I have... it has been seven years," the 'Legede' crooner' excitedly told Mpasho's Kalondu Musyimi, who was part of the team that picked him at JKIA.
Koffi Olomide expressed his gratitude for returning to the country, describing the experience as "beyond surreal."
"I want to thank all Kenyans, this country is my country. This country is my heart, I have a big part of my life here and to be back after so many years....try to understand me, it is something big in my heart," said the Congolese superstar emotionally.
His message to his fans? "Peace...peace, peace peace and love,"
