Mr. Ibu, a Nigerian comic actor, has had another leg amputated and is barely able to speak.

The actor is said to have undergone another surgery, this time removing a portion of the same leg that was amputated last month.

Dr. Emeka Rollas, National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, provided an update on the ailing actor's health during a phone call with a reporter.

"As I speak with you, Mr Ibu hardly talks again and he has undergone another leg amputation."

The ailing actor's condition is said to have deteriorated with each passing day.

According to the family, the initial amputation was insufficient to address his health issues, prompting a second amputation on the same leg.

The actor's family also refuted claims that his illness was caused by diabetes, revealing that clotting of the blood in his leg was caused by diseased blood vessels.

They revealed that the only reason why the family has not flown him out of the country to date is that the doctors have tagged him as 'Not Fit to Fly.'
