Moses Kuria, the Cabinet Secretary for Public Service (CS), has criticized Senator Allan Chesang of Trans Nzoia for appearing unable to understand how a Rolls Royce works in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Kuria uploaded a video to X on Friday that showed Chesang showing a well-off Arab man to his Rolls Royce Spectre.

Before the Arab man enters the car from the passenger side, the two can briefly converse.

Unaware that the Rolls Royce Spectre has a feature that allows it to close its doors automatically with a button, Chesang closes the door by hand.

Chesang's well-meaning gesture, however, did not properly secure the door. The Arab man, whom Kuria called a friend, opened it again and let it close. When the Trans Nzoia Senator realized his initial error, he laughed.

The video then cuts to the Senator saying goodbye to the Arab man.

"Be careful whom you take with you Majuu. My brother Sen Allan Chesang tried some manual stuff on my Abu Dhabi friend's Rolls Royce Spectre forgetting this is not Endebess," Kuria captioned the video.

According to the American luxury vehicle digital marketplace Dupont Registry, a Rolls Royce Spectre starts at about USD 400,000 (roughly Ksh. 62.8 million) for the base model. However, "customization options and additional features can significantly drive up the vehicle's cost."
