Singer and comedian Alpha Mwana Mtule has clarified the events leading to his hospitalization in October, dispelling earlier claims of poisoning. During a recent interview with SPM Buzz, Mwana Mtule admitted that the concocted narrative was created to shield his wife from family conflicts.

In acknowledging the falsity of his earlier statement, Mwana Mtule delved into the internal challenges that compelled him to create the false poisoning narrative. He attributed the ordeal to intricate family dynamics, specifically involving his wife and her previous marriage.

With a palpable sense of disappointment and betrayal, Mwana Mtule detailed how the breakdown of trust prompted him to mislead the public, driven by the intention to protect his wife. He clarified that his deep affection for his wife, a single mother of three, was rooted in his own childhood experience of not having a nuclear family.

However, Mwana Mtule revealed a stark contrast between his initial perception and the reality of his married life. He described his wife exhibiting a different side soon after their union, and alluded to ongoing friction with her ex-husband who refused to accept their separation.

Mwana Mtule admitted that concealing these internal conflicts took a toll on his mental and physical health, ultimately culminating in the hospitalization and the fabricated story. He acknowledged the seriousness of the situation and expressed a desire to move forward with honesty and transparency.
