Zuchu, the well-known Tanzanian singer, began the new year by treating herself to a pricey wig.

Zuchu, who has established herself as a style icon, didn't cut corners when updating her wardrobe. According to reports, the wig cost an astounding Tsh11.3 million, or Ksh706,562.

Zuchu's extravagant purchases of handbags and grillz have garnered media attention, leading some fans to believe that Zuchu is maintaining a flamboyant lifestyle.

In an earlier interview, Zuchu stressed that putting out a showy front is a calculated risk to help her establish her reputation and attract possible partners in the cutthroat music business.

Zuchu claims that having an opulent home and a high-end vehicle are essential elements that significantly add to her attraction in the business and ultimately affect the opportunities that come her way.

She views these components as calculated investments in her music career rather than merely ostentatious displays of wealth.

"There is music career and other careers. If you are a musician, you need to live flashy, from the house you stay in and the car you drive. That has contributed so much to building my brand and how much I will make from those who want to work with me," she said.
