While the entrepreneur didn't disclose the details of her weight loss journey at the time, she recently revealed in a question-and-answer session that it was achieved through a gastric sleeve surgery.
The gastric sleeve surgery, a bariatric procedure aimed at inducing weight loss, operates by reducing the size of the stomach.
During the gastric sleeve operation, approximately 80% of the stomach is removed, creating a tubular sleeve. This reduction in stomach size results in a faster feeling of fullness, subsequently leading to a decrease in the amount of food consumed and facilitating weight loss.
