Kenyans on Twitter have come after Kiss FM presenter Kwambox after she made an insensitive comment about the ongoing probe into the murder and dismemberment of Rita Waeni.

During her show on Wednesday, kwambox, who was dancing to Nigerian music, said that she will still vibe to Nigerian music even if Kenyans feel some way about it.

"Listen, even if you guys are not feeling Nigerians this week, I don't care."

Kenyans did not take these comments lightly, as the brutal murder of Rita Waeni is still fresh in the minds of Kenyans. KOT has called for the firing of Kwambox, accusing her of being insensitive.

"Nimecheck hiyo video ya Kwambox and what I can say she needs to get fired immediately. Why is she supporting Femicide??😡😡😡" one user said.

"Kiss 100 with their biased reporter Kwambox have deleted their tweet but at what cost? Women must be respected." another one added.

Some Kenyans are comparing the case to that of former presenter Shaffie Weru, who was fired for making insensitive comments about a woman who had been thrown off the balcony of a building.

We are watching keenly to see what Kiss 100 will do to their presenter, Kwambox. They can't apply selective justice; Shaffie Weru was fired for almost the same comments, but because Kwambox is a woman, they delete the video and let it pass?

Rita Waeni was brutally murdered and dismembered in a roysambu apartment. Police are still looking for the suspect seen on CCTV picking up the keys to the apartment moments before the murder.
