Sensational televangelist Bishop Mwangi, famously known as Pastor Kanyari, has finally opened up about the controversial calls that used to be made to his congregants demanding kshs 310 to receive blessings.
According to the witty pastor, he was very broke at the time and needed money to survive. He has revealed that the money was not really for a miracle but insists that the miracles he performed were real and that he also healed people and helped others out of poverty.

He says he is now rich and has been blessed with so many cars that he has run out of parking space.
However, Pastor Kanyari's theatrics have not stopped; earlier this month, the televangelist threatened to chase his congregants away from his church if they came empty-handed.
In a viral video seen by Waza, the self-proclaimed prophet said that anyone who comes to his church and does not bring him something to eat or use, like sugar and money, will be chased away from the church.
“I won’t allow you here if you are not bringing me sugar and or tea. I won’t allow you because you can’t be coming to see me without bringing me anything as your spiritual father. You can’t come here empty-handed,” Kanyari said.
