An MCA caused a stir at the Machakos Law Courts on Wednesday after he suffered a broken leg while resisting arrest by county officials.
Boniface Maeke, the MCA for Kalama Ward, went to Machakos court to support Douglas Musyoka, his Masii/Vyulya counterpart, who was arrested on Tuesday on charges that his Machakos house did not meet county government requirements.
Maeke was singled out from his colleagues outside the courtroom and was forcibly arrested and hauled away by over six men, but he refused to enter the county vehicles.
