In a recent interview with Radio Citizen, the singer disclosed that he is building his mother a house in Kajiado. He intends to complete the house's construction before considering moving out.

The 'cheza kama wewe' hitmaker disclosed this information in response to a question concerning his investment strategy and earnings from the song.

"Mpaka place nimefika at least siezi kosa kitu ya kudishi, saizi ukiniita shughuli siezi kosa kufika. My mum haezi kosa kupiga luku, siezi kosa kupiga luku.

So bado tunabambanya, siezi kwambia ati nmefika, niko na mamili, nini. Bado nastruggle manze. Bado naishi na mother mpaka nimjengee ndio ntoke. tunajenga mdogo mdogo, si lazima nipost ndio mje, tunasonga on low key," he stated.

Trio Mio said that while he intends to continue his education, his primary focus is making music.

During the interview, Trio Mio's mother, who also serves as his manager, revealed some of the difficulties involved in raising a rising star.

" Najaribu kumuelewa sana cause it's also a first for me yeye mwenyewe ni star, ana umri mdogo and it all comes down ulianza kulea mtoto wako vipi. So, mimi, I think from time watoto wangu wanajua, my word is law," Trio Mio's mother explained.

The mother of the rising celebrity also admitted that her son occasionally experiments with things she disapproves of, like alcohol, and that some of the things he does that annoy her include not washing dishes, not making his bed, and inviting lots of friends over.

In response to a question concerning her son's success, she said that his primary motivators are his discipline and innate love for his work.
