During an interview with Trudy Kitui, comedian Eric Omondi attributed the breakup between content creators Mungai Eve and director Trevor to the interference of close friends and the negative influence of Kenyans, suggesting that they played a role in jinxing their relationship.

"That was people interfering with other people's lives. I feel like Kenyans and friends have made this happen. people play the bigger part, Kenyans and close friends and acquaintances. It is not that they listened to people but over time," Eric stated.


Eric's assertions surfaced just days after the widely circulated news of the couple's separation, a confirmation made by Trevor. Trevor elaborated that the two had been apart since February 2023. Eric insisted that the responsibility for the breakup lay with Kenyans, attributing it to their negative comments.

Additionally, the comedian urged the two individuals to get in touch with him.

"Call me, and we will meet the three of us. Kenyans have made you trend; take a hat, sit down, use it, and push your channel," he advised.

Director Trevor disclosed that he and Eve Mungai ended their relationship, February 2023 but chose to keep it private as they continued working together. Director Trevor shocked fans by revealing he had prevented Eve from hosting videos on his YouTube channel, clarified that she was solely the face of the brand.

Trevor further revealed that he and Eve maintain an amicable relationship, communicate, and collaborate professionally. However, he emphasized that she would not receive any compensation for the videos on the channel.

The couple, Director Trevor and Eve Mungai, portrayed a strong relationship and served as couple goals during their three years together before their breakup. On February 19, Trevor surprised many by officially confirming his breakup with Eve and the conclusion of their collaboration on various online platforms.
