The step daughter of the late John Okafor famously known as Mr Ibu has been blasted after she changed the name of her father's account just moments after his death.
The account, which had over 1 million followers, was initially named @realmribu but is now known as @LadyJasminec_live.
Jasmine has erased most of Mr Ibu's videos and the name change, leaving only six showing herself.
Many of Mr Ibu's admirers on social media are angry at Jasmine's actions, accusing her of disrespecting the actor's legacy.

Dr. Olukemi Olunloyo expressed her concern over X, adding, "Is Mr. Ibu's cause of death a CARDIAC AREEST? This is consistent with his several conditions. However, why did his adoptive daughter Jasmine alter all of his Instagram and TikTok usernames to her name? "They should have memorialized it."
The actor died on March 2, 2024, after a cardiac arrest, according to Emeka Rollas, President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.
“I announce with a deep sense of grief that Ibu didn’t make it. Mr Ibu suffered a cardiac arrest according to his manager of 24 years,” Rollas announced.
Mr Ibu's family revealed details about his health challenges in December 2023, such as an amputation owing to blood clotting in his leg,
"Daddy's cause of sickness is also not diabetes, but he's had constant clotting of the blood in his leg (diseased blood vessels) and other health challenges posing a risk to his life, therefore the need for the amputation," the family went on to say.
