Director Trevor has unveiled Eve Nyaga as the fresh face of his YouTube channel following the departure of his former partner, Eve Mungai.

In a social media announcement on March 18, 2024, Trevor declared that Eve Nyaga would be stepping in to fill the gap left by Eve Mungai's departure.

Trevor was pictured alongside Eve Nyaga in a series of photos that he posted on social media.

"Introducing the newest face of Kenya Online Media, our vibrant host and brand image Eve Nyaga! Get ready to dive into the heart of entertainment as Eve brings you exclusive scoops and unravels the stories behind the headlines," Trevor wrote.

"Stay tuned for a journey filled with excitement, insight, and endless entertainment as She brings her passion and flair to the forefront!" Trevor added.

Director Trevor, who was in a romantic relationship with Eve Mungai for nearly five years, confirmed their separation on February 19, 2024, both personally and professionally.

In a series of Insta Stories, Trevor revealed that he had taken sole control of the YouTube channel and no longer required Eve Mungai's services.

When questioned about the possibility of future collaborations with Mungai, Trevor emphasized that her involvement in their joint platforms had been terminated.

"No! Her services are no longer needed in the following platforms: YouTube - 754K subscribers, Insta Fame - 104K subscribers, Facebook - 874K followers," he responded.

In an interview on the Iko Nini podcast, Trevor revealed that his romantic relationship with Eve hit its lowest point in 2023.

He mentioned having a discussion with her parents, where they collectively agreed to maintain their professional collaboration despite their breakup.

Trevor further explained that he ceased working with Eve Mungai due to her violation of their 50/50 agreement, where both parties were entitled to an equal share of revenue generated from their brand, encompassing platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and others.

He asserted that Eve desired a greater share because she believed she deserved more than the 50 per cent stake, considering her role as the face of the brand.

"Hio [the decision to stop working together] haikucome from my side. Me and Eve we had a 50/50 agreement on the kind of business that we do but ilifika point Eve akafeel like she does not deserve 50 per cent yet she is the image and the whatever of the brand so she wanted more," Trevor remarked.

During the same interview, Trevor elaborated that the brand's Instagram account, which was managed by Eve Mungai, generated more revenue for them in 2023. This led her to believe that she should have the authority to determine the percentage she would allocate to him.
