Eric Omondi has joined in mourning the late TikToker Brian Chira, whose story has resonated deeply with people across Kenya.

In a departure from his usual humor, Omondi reflected on Brian Chira's life and challenges while he was still alive.

His comments followed the news that the fundraiser for the late TikToker Brian Chira's funeral has garnered Ksh5 million in just 48 hours since its launch.

Led by fellow TikToker Baba Talisha, the fundraiser garnered contributions from various users who rallied behind the cause to give the content creator a dignified send-off.

Chira's plight gained national attention when it was revealed that he had received a generous donation of KSh 5 million from fellow Kenyans.

However, Omondi lamented that despite this outpouring of support, Chira tragically passed away without even having the means to afford a simple boda boda ride.

“I am very happy that Wakenya wamechangia Brian Chira Ksh. 5 million, but I am very sad that alikufa kama hana pesa ya kulipa boda boda,” comedian Eric Omondi says while mourning Brian Chira.

Omondi encouraged Kenyans to continue showing kindness and generosity to those who may be struggling while they are still alive.

“Brian Chira alikuwa anahitaji hizo pesa akiwa hai,” he said while speaking to Vincent Mboya.

He called upon Kenyans to extend their support to Peter, also known as Miracle Baby, with the same generosity they showed Brian Chira, by contributing KSh 5 million towards his recovery from illness.
