Since January 2024, musician Miracle Baby has been unable to urinate or defecate after experiencing a rupture in his intestines. He was hospitalized on January 16, 2024, following an urgent need for medical intervention due to this condition.

Despite undergoing several surgeries aimed at rectifying the issue, Miracle Baby has not regained normal bowel and bladder function.

Miracle Baby has been using ostomy bags since he was operated on.

During his birthday celebration organized by his close friends, Miracle Baby expressed his greatest desire to be able to use the toilet again. The Gengetone and Mugithi artist explained that since his admission in January this year, he has deeply missed the simple act of going to the toilet on his own. Miracle Baby acknowledged that ostomy bags have been necessary for collecting urine and stool temporarily to aid in the healing process of his intestines.

“When I see you people from St Mary’s, my heart leaps with joy. My heart leaps because when I see you, I see myself going to the toilet soon. I miss going to the toilet, and this is not a joke,” Miracle Baby said.

“You can imagine since January, I haven’t been able to go to the toilet, but soon I will have my intestine restored so that I can go to the toilet on my own,” he added.

Carol Katrue, the partner of the musician, has been reaching out to Kenyans for financial support to settle her partner's substantial hospital bill resulting from his medical treatment.
