Veteran media personality Betty Kyallo is set to return to Kenyan television screens, reportedly joining TV47. While not yet officially confirmed, multiple online sources indicate that the former KTN/K24 TV news presenter is expected to make her debut on the Cape Media-owned TV channel next month.

Reports suggest that Betty Kyallo is currently working on a promotional video for her highly anticipated comeback. It's rumored that she will take over the Friday Prime Time news slot and introduce a new segment after the bulletin, with the aim of modernizing the traditional news format.

Bringing a wealth of experience as a news presenter, Betty Kyallo has lent her talents to prominent media organizations such as the Standard Group and Media Max. During her time at Mediamax (K24 TV), she anchored weekend prime-time news before transitioning to an entertainment news segment, where she conducted interviews with a diverse range of guests.

Following her departure from K24, Betty Kyallo ventured into personal business endeavors and took part in a reality TV show, Kyallo Kulture, alongside her sisters.

Betty Kyallo hinted at a potential TV comeback last week while criticizing Citizen TV in response to reports that her luxury beauty shop, Flair By Betty, was facing auction due to outstanding rent arrears.

“For Citizen, by the way, you guys don’t have to be scared of a TV comeback,” Betty said.
